Would you like to learn to master the art of sliding a car on ice? This is your chance! During this Driver Training module, you'll discover what it truly feels like to be in control on ice. Guided by experienced and passionate instructors, you'll learn all about winter driving techniques, from the correct seating position and steering control to skidding, braking, accelerating and reacting to unexpected situations. And all of this takes place on the impressive ice circuit of Alpe d’Huez.

INSTRUCTOR DEMO
Vehicle control on ice
We will start with a short theoretical briefing and demonstration by a professional instructor explaining the techniques to keep your car under control on ice.
DRIVING EXPERIENCE
Ice driving
You take the wheel yourself. Turn by turn, you’ll build confidence and develop your driving skills while playfully learning how to glide over the ice with control.
END OF THE DAY
Closing drink at chalet
After the Ice Driving session, you will enjoy a small drink together as a closing moment, marking the end of a unique winter Driver Training.

The Ford Performance Club Driver Training module 'Ice Driving' is open to anyone over the age of 18 who holds a valid driving license.
This Ice Driving module takes place on the 700 m long Ice Circuit of Alpe d'Huez. It is located in an idyllic setting at an altitude of 1806 m.
Yes! Whether you're an amateur or an experienced driver, come and practice ice driving at the wheel of a Ford. Fun is guaranteed and it will always be an educational experience.
During this Driver Training, you will get professional coaching from the local instructors of the circuit.
Participants are responsible for booking their own overnight stay if needed. Book in time as Driver Training takes place during the ski season. Below is an overview of recommended hotels near the ice circuit.
Participants organize their own travel to the Ice Circuit in Alpe D'Huez. All needed practical information will be shared with participants closer to the event date by email.
The car you will be driving during the Driver Training will be provided by us. You therefore don't need your own vehicle to participate.
The available cars will consist of various new Ford models that are perfectly suited for this Driver Training.
